Tryout-Supportto reduce the number of correction loops
We support our customers from the initial commissioning of tools up to the successful tool buyoff to reduce the number of correction loops and thus both the lead-time and the correction costs to a minimum.
Simulation based tryout process
Since ideally a virtual springback compensation has been done, the first step in the tryout is to reproduce as far as possible the conditions of the process simulation – especially the draw-in of the flanges and the die spotting.
Only if the strain distribution in the real part sufficiently matches to that in the simulation a similar springback may be expected.
We support the tool tryout as follows:
- comparison between simulation and practice
- analysis of deviations and their root causes
- simulation based derivation of adjustments
- simulation based compensations based on measurement reports
